First time I visited this place was for a funeral of my y lovely niece in 1999, I visited now and it was one of the best experiences I ever have, I see I completely humanity visiting their love ones people here there overther, people seating playing music, eating food, workers laugh in the distance, I cried a little bit with my brother and son, the views is spectacular, I loved this place.
More than 25 years ago, I made the decision to purchase six grave sites at the Holy Cross Cemetery, and since then, the prices have increased about 10 times. At the time, I wasn't entirely certain of what I was doing, but looking back now, it was one of the best decisions I made during my younger years. The cemetery has become a source of comfort and peace for me, reminding me to stay humble while living on this earth.
Recently, we had two funeral services during the pandemic for my father-in-law and my mother. These experiences reinforced the significance of my earlier decision. During a short weekend trip to LA, I visited my mom's site with my older brother. We offered flowers, said short prayers, and took the time to clean the grave area. Each visit to the cemetery serves as a reminder that this may be my final resting place as well, prompting reflections on past memories and guiding how I should live in the present and future. There is no certainty about the future; all we have is the present, waiting day after day. As I visited the cemetery, I also prayed for all the souls in purgatory, embracing a sense of spiritual connection with those who have passed.
THEY WONT CALL YOU BACK!!!!
My experience is similar to Van Nessa who left a subpar review. It took 3 weeks to get my husband buried but waited 4 because the 3 week mark was my 15 yo son’s bday. We already had a plot there so we waited. I was told headstone will take a year. At the 8 mo mark I wanted an update for the headstone. Multiple, multiple attempts to reach someone about this issue with no returned phone call. I’ve left countless voicemails to multiple representatives and supervisors with no phone call back. The receptionist doesn’t help, just transfers you to someone who doesn’t answer. Tried making an appointment just to be transferred to a voicemail.
The most horrible customer service experience as your life is falling apart.
Holy Cross is a beautiful cemetery with breathtaking scenery.
A lot of celebrities are buried here, so it is a great place to spend some time.
It is peaceful and quiet and very family friendly.
No better place to spend eternity.

These people put wrong dates on deceased obituaries and ignore all attempts to get them to correct their mistakes. Take your loved ones and your hard earned money to someone who cares!!! Just pathetic.
Nice, well-maintained cemetery that is the resting place of several Hollywood legends. Wonderful place for an afternoon walk to enjoy the statuary.
I come here from time to time to visit my grandfather's burial. While the cemetery is located in a beautiful area, some of the sites and gravestones could be better maintained.
As a grieving family member, this facility has provided the worst experience. The staff does not have sympathy for family members going through this process. They are rude, unkind, and unresponsive. Took over a week to get things settled, just to get a call the morning of the funeral to say it cant happen. Excuses were thrown left and right!! We just want closure and for our loved one to be at peace, and this facility does not help with the process. Only reason we continued with holy cross was because the plot was pre-paid.
